mad4boxes
For the move to Hamburg we needed boxes. We ordered some online (40 boxes or so for 40£, not bad) and I really liked the logo. Not that the typography is original or anything, just because of the fact that it’s actually something different for once and someone sat down and put something nice on a standard cardboard box.
punching out for the year
I’ve finally arrived in Beijing yesterday after two weeks of stress and hard work. It feels good.
China always is this place where I leave all my worries behind. After all, it is on the other side of the world.
obama part 2

Love the intimacy of this photo. Check out the other ones as well including one where he does pull-ups.
obama

Nice poster made up of front pages after Obama’s historic victory. Get it here.

Slow motion, flying dogs and lasers. What more could one want. An older music video for Vitalic from Pleix. The track is called Poney Part. 1.
streetcar

Yesterday I moved all my stuff temporarely over to my girlfriends place. From there it’ll be moved to Hamburg.
To get the stuff over I needed a van. Streetcar is an amazing and quick service. You do have to be a member but it doesn’t have any monthly fees. You get a member card with which you can open the car you ordered online by swiping it across the windshield. Very cool.
You type in your four digit code into the radio and get the key from the glove compartment in return. Once you’re done you park the car where you found it and lock it again with your card.
Slick, easy, quick and affordable.
And no… I’m not getting paid for this.

the good ol’ days

I loved Lego when I was a kid. Still do.
Hated doing everything according to plan though. Always created my own designs. Unfortunately if I were to play with Lego now it would seem a little strange.
So I’m really glad that the guys from Sweden came up with the Lego Digital Designer. It ties in with the online site. Essentially you can create your own designs, check out the price and order it. Also comes with packaging. Great! The software is available for PC and Mac. Even better.
Although I got a little bored after a while I still think it’s a great idea and shows that we live in a user generated content world.
