the daily life
Well, it’s been a while. I’ve been extremely busy at my new job and haven’t really had the time nor the motivation to write something new. But it’s Saturday evening and after having been out yesterday it’s a good time to relax and catch up on the weeks series and a bit of rugby.
Friday was great as well as I’ve finally managed to go and check out the Chilli Club. The Sushi is amazing.
Went to Baalsaal after that which was great as well. At least if you like electronic music. Which I do.

8bit hero

Someone actually put some effort into ‘downgrading’ Guitar Hero for the Nintendo NES. Unbelievably retro and actually really cool.

liveset february 2009
This set came in early. Normally I release livesets during the middle of a month.
I think having them come out on the 1st or 2nd is better.
This set has quite a few percussive influences. They were gone for a while and I’m glad producers are bringing them back.
Anyway… enjoy

great stuff on tv
This is a website I visit regularly. It’s great for finding links to watch TV shows online.
Most will probably know it already… it’s just a reminder.

the good ol’ days

I loved Lego when I was a kid. Still do.
Hated doing everything according to plan though. Always created my own designs. Unfortunately if I were to play with Lego now it would seem a little strange.
So I’m really glad that the guys from Sweden came up with the Lego Digital Designer. It ties in with the online site. Essentially you can create your own designs, check out the price and order it. Also comes with packaging. Great! The software is available for PC and Mac. Even better.
Although I got a little bored after a while I still think it’s a great idea and shows that we live in a user generated content world.
Livesets

In case you don’t know… I dj in my spare time. Once a month (at least that’s the idea) I upload a set that I’ve recorded. The music I play ranges from minimal to electro.
If you listen to that kind of music check out my liveset website, download a mix and tell me what you think.
Avenue Q

-
So, last week or so my girlfriend and I went and saw Avenue Q. For those of you who haven’t heard of it yet, it’s essentially a naughty version of the muppet show. With swearing, sex and racism.
Highlights include ‘The internet is for porn’ and ‘everyone’s a little bit racist’.
Fantastic. Definitely go and see it.
